Delete your PractoPal account & all associated data

Step 1 — Submit a deletion requestYou may initiate deletion in any one of the following ways:

  • In‑app: Settings → Privacy & DataDelete Account (preferred).
  • Email: Write to [email protected] with the subject Account Deletion Request from the email linked to your PractoPal account.
Step 2 — Verify your identity
For your security, we’ll ask you to confirm your account email/phone and a one‑time verification code. We cannot proceed without verification.
Step 3 — We process the deletion
Once verified, we will permanently delete your account and eligible personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained only where required for legal, regulatory, fraud‑prevention, or record‑keeping purposes (see table below).

We also provide options to delete or anonymize certain data categories while keeping your account active. You can manage this via Settings → Privacy & Data → Manage Data or by emailing us.

What we delete vs. what we retain (and why)

The table below summarizes typical data categories processed by PractoPal, their deletion behavior when you delete your account, and any retention obligations.

How long does it take?

Most requests complete within 7–14 days; complex cases within 30 days. We’ll notify you when done.

Can I cancel my request?

Yes — reply to the confirmation email before deletion is finalized.

Will my data be deleted from third‑party processors?

Yes. We instruct all relevant processors to delete or anonymize your data in line with our agreements and legal requirements.

What if I used PractoPal via a partner clinic or retailer?

Some records (e.g., invoices or clinical notes created by a provider) may be controlled by that provider and retained under their legal obligations. We will route your request appropriately and inform you of any exceptions.
